CSIS has an updated report. While right wing extremism was more prevalent in the decade up to 2024, it dropped significantly in 2025 for unclear reasons.

Looking closelier at their data, it's only up to 7/25. It doesnt include two right wing attacks that took place shortly after that:
1. An anti-LGBTQ plot targeting a Texas pride parade
2. The attack on a Michigan Mormon congregation.
Also csis states "the fall in right-wing violence is likely temporary"
