Eh? It looks exactly like it was put through a scrum pipeline.
What does that mean?
I think what they mean is it looks like a hodgepodge of different DAWs, aka: designed by a committee who's only point of references are features in other done software. It doesn't look like it has its own visual identity.

While I agree tbf it could be much worse
I dunno if you're aware of the back story behind these UI design improvements but that's about as far from the truth as it's possible to get.
