The 9€/mo price point seems weird, considering its "just" static hosting and i can get a decently sized VPS for that money (yes, also from a EU host).

You can also get a fully-featured shared web hosting package plus email for that price. 9€/mo is wack.
You should see the pricing of Azure web apps lol
