Major Resolve plugin developer here.
The good thing about DaVinci Resolve's Linux system requirements is that these are so outdated that basically every developer links their plugins with static libraries they build themselves; and Resolve itself bundles lots of .so files with the app itself. Also Rocky Linux 8 is a good baseline Linux distribution: simple system libraries interdependence, so trivial to export and bundle those.
In other words, binaries created for RockyLinux8 with portability in mind are easily portable to sane modern Linux distributions.
(That doesn't make developing on Rocky Linux 8 fun at all)
