Samsung is dead in the water. They cannot compete with the operating system or the four other Apple ecosystems that this new phone will integrate with seamlessly. That being said this new iPhone is probably in a 5% at most niche market within the overall iPhone market.
Difference is that the Fold 8 started at 2000 Euro (compared to 2339 Euro including VAT for the Duo) and can now be bought here already for 1500 new.
That's 800 Euro less and Samsung will mostly decrease prices further while Apple will barely.
It's a shame Samsung dropped stylus support after the 6, but I guess the 8 is a good bit lighter weight than the duo.
honestly it's why I am not updating from Fold 5... the stylus is the part that truly differentiated it
