See my other comment, but the fuse pulling stuff still works on GM EVs and disables connectivity, but the telematics unit may still be collecting offline to batch upload.

That's why it's better to replace it with a blown fuse instead, so that a helpful repair shop doesn't replace it when they see it missing.
