Yes, let's blame the working class for spending money on Chinese goods after their jobs were offshored and their spending power was decreased.
Appeals were made time after time to "Buy American!" as each manufacturing sector was offshored, first to Japan, then to China and the rest of Asia, but they were ignored by workers in other sectors. So, yes, you'd better believe the working class do not escape blame.
