These are small problems. Details, even. You can be quite successful and get all that stuff wrong. Not that I'd recommend it.

People really will take any possible excuse to derail a thread and talk about political figures they don't like, huh?

  • It's not really about that, and it's not really a dunk, and it doesn't derail anything as far as I can tell. What we're discussing is the magnitude of the impact of the sorts of errors that AI makes in promotional material.

When the President of the United States is actively promoting multi-hundred dollar items that are branded with his name and that have the same error that the parent commenter is complaining about, I think that's a worthwhile observation.

What I'm trying to do is contrast the reality of what is actually being produced and bought by human beings, and what the parent commenter was suggesting was "huge, obvious, and an indicator that the one who made the flyer didn't care whatsoever".

It was extremely convenient that the exact critique they were leveling against this small business poster could also be leveled at such a high-profile product. You seem to think this is about Trump, but it's not. It's about low quality being the norm.

Step 1: develop a cult of personality, to the point of becoming president 2 (even after openly failing to coup a lost election)

Step 2-3: sell anything to your cult followers, doesn’t matter how good or bad it is

Step 4: profit

Simple recipe for success
