Given Disney owns the IP now, they probably don't need to make a Grim Fandango movie because they made Coco: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coco_(2017_film)

On the other hand, I still think Disney should make a Monkey Island TV show or movie. They could use Sea of Thieves-style water effects in the Volume for useful shenanigans.
