While I agree, that’s just what they told us. Not sure I believe it anymore. The fact the first UK one happened immediately after they sanctioned Israel is also just a big coincidence.

Not sure what they would gain from a one-off shutdown of UK airports for a few hours (which included flights to and from Israel being cancelled).
Israel has actually openly retaliated to the UK measures with far more sensible and long-lasting strategic measures, including shutting down the UK consulate for Palestine in East Jerusalem.
