Slack notifies all admins of a workspace if a payment failed :)

But then it's only admins, not all users, and it may make sense in case the workspace owner is distracted/incapacitated etc.

What ruins the "we care about your workspace" part though is how the message is phrased as a threat. Fail to pay and you'll lose acces to this and that and that other thing...

Slack tries to sell to employees as well though, there are feature CTAs I see all the time trying to get me to express interest so they can tell the admin/owner of the account "Your employees want this feature, pay us more money".

I find it incredibly disrespectful.

  • I took Grammarly's side, since we used a few SaaS and the CFO (small company for context) revoked access and we had to beg him. Reading the comments about multiple SaaS annoying end users changed my mind.
