Yeah, I disagree with SVP's approach in this story. First, get the current issue understood, resolved and remedied. Then, thank the team for their good work in fixing this issue, and do a post-mortem to see what process improvement could have prevented the issue from rising in the first place, or at least detected and mitigated it more quickly.
