Btw, I found out a few days ago HN censors comments. Not just down voting, but if you say something they HN finds offensive it disappears.

You can enable viewing dead comments in your settings.
I cant believe this is a thing. I just turned on dead comments and there are loads of them, most I dont consider offensive or bad in any way. I had no idea HN was so severely censored, my opinion of it has gone down (even though I assume this comment will now be killed).
Maybe post two comments about it, maybe in different stories, and ask people that respond with bewilderment to post twice as well.
