KDE does tiling really well and conventional window management really well. Doing both well is unique to KDE, AFAICT.

That sounds like polish and bugfixes to me. It's good that they do that though.

    Tiling is a major feature that many people switch desktops to get, giving up lots in the process.

      How long have we had tiling? It's not a new feature to me, but maybe I've just got my years off. Maybe the exact implementation in KDE is new, but the idea isn't.
