To be honest in my opinion car design got so boring in general since about 20 years ago that it's nice to see it mixed up with these hyper futuristic concept designs.
It makes the future feel fun, and feels like a return to adventurous aesthetics for the pure sake of it. At the very least, it's noticably different and interesting. I hope architecture follows suit.
They've been making concept cars that entire 20 year period.
They just get completely watered down for production. As will happen here. That's why they're concepts.
fair point. It seems to me like more of the ideas now make it through to production though.
