My entire family uses WhatsApp. I held off for years because of that.

After reading this book, I decided that I couldn't keep supporting this company and told them that I'm leaving WhatsApp and that they can text me if they want to chat.

They were all not only more than fine with the move but actually helped me recreate the chat groups we had before!

So if you really want to go cold turkey on Meta products, going scorched Earth might not scorch as much as you think it will!
