They either didn't kiss the right ass or pay the right bribe within the current administration I imagine.

    Ironically, this makes me like Microsoft slightly more. I guess they didn't splurge for the solid gold painted copilot logo as tribute.

MS has been particularly extreme for longer (decades, at least). Surely it is a statement of intent to others as well anyway.

    Rather surprised MS didn't kiss the ring enough to avoid this or offer to fund the renovations to the Trump Kennedy Center.

As someone with inside knowledge of both, yeah, it's wild. I bet even conspiracy theories will fall short of explaining what's going on there.
