The ICC did not go after Trump (edit or any US citizen ever, afaik).
It condemned Putin for crimes committed in Ukraine, which is a member.
But Russia is not a member of ICC. So, ICC going after Putin contradicts the logic from your earlier post in this thread. It's not 125 countries agreeing to police each other, it's them going after a country outside their own group.
Well all countries have jurisdiction over what happens on their territory regardless of the citizenship of the criminals, it's not the gotcha you think it is. It's a bit like when the US went after Bin Laden, it was perfectly justified and universally agreed.
