I've been a YouTube premium member twice. Both times, a few months in they start showing ads anyway. Fewer, but still not none.

I've had premium for years and I've never seen an ad. Where did you see ads?
I've had YT Premium for years now and I've never seen an ad (other than sponsored content within the video, done by the video's author).
