It doesn't work because the people who are supposed to be leading us are on the payroll - sometimes actually - of the shareholders and CEOs, or are in fact in that same group.

It doesn't work because the people who are supposed to be leading us are on the payroll - sometimes actually - of the shareholders and CEOs, or are in fact in that same group.
The fact that there is no effective path to doing that is another conversation. My point is that doing that solves the problem. And the problem is not complicated. We just gave away our power to solve it.
