if it was the case that there are like 5k people with access to gated models, why do they need external funding? Why can't they outcompete all of the software agencies from Eastern Europe and India for start?

Why can't they outcompete slack, salesforce etc? Given free distribution they have (all of the AI influencers) they would get 1M users in a day if they could do it. Why not?
