We all know all the valuations are fake. Elon taught us this lesson well. Let’s not pretend they don’t have a gorillion users though, including every enterprise on earth.
right, but when someone says the "market value" it should be distinguished between the public market that has a bunch of rules, insight, etc vs private equity which is a bunch of people who are directly liable for that value.
One of them has some kind of regulatory control, even if shitty, the other is basically just a bunch of greedy bastards with no oversight.
