To be fair they dramatically improved how annoying Claude is with Opus 5.5. It's not perfect but it's not nearly as awful as it was.

Opposite for me. Output of 5.5 is better but its safety and moral standing skyrocketed. I am constantly hitting refusals for simple tasks, which previous generations (like 4.8) do without giving me a tirade.
Anthropic’s vision of “safe” is so frustrating to deal with, it makes me want to go back to ChatGPT.
Same experience with Opus. It threw a fit when I asked it about some specific UAV questions for a UAV aero sim I'm working on.
