Impressive! Previous to Argon I instructed Claude to find preimages in 19 rounds of SHA-256 (with padding) [1], then tried to move to 20 rounds (no padding) where it couldn't beat ~2^45 table lookups, and Argon found preimages in ~2^33 (no padding) [2].
