As a GrapheneOS enjoyer I was just hit by my financial institution with a requirement for age attestation/verification to use the app, due to state law.
I'm not installing Google Play, so there goes that!

They will probably let you use your phone for 2FA and use the website... from your phone though, right ? (sigh)
