On reading this, especially the part about scheduling appointments, I am so glad I don't live in the same country as the writer.

I can literally walk into the hospital here, and a doctor/oncologist will become available within a short while.

The shortest wait was 15 minutes and the longest we waited was 3 hours. This was consistent across the 18 months of treatment.

We only had to schedule chemo, which would start within 5 minutes of prep.
