I'd expect a passkey to work like SSH keys except stored in a password manager. I should be able to copy that key like a password if I really want to. It's apparently so much more complicated than that. Unless someone can tell me why exactly the other stuff like attestation is needed, rather than just saying it's not that bad, I don't trust it.
