Look into fasting, I'm seeing a growing number of people claiming success with fasting activating autophagy, give it a few 48 hour stints and see what happens.

I would have thought many, if not most, cancer patients go through periods of not eating at all or even drinking for much longer than 48 hours due to mucositis from chemotherapy.

This was six years ago, but I found it somewhat unbelievable that there was absolutely no therapeutically relevant guidance from the hospital regarding nutrition.

Treatments like hormone therapy for estrogen positive breast cancer are meant to attack the cancer's metabolic signaling mechanism. Intermittent fasting, like taking 12 hour breaks with no food every day, is something else that you can do to try and stress cancer cells.

  • Well the good news is the fasts a lot because her digestive system has been nuked by the cancer itself so she cant really eat.

She is ER+ and they removed her ovaries and put her into early menopause to prevent it from getting its fuel.

Not only fasting, but also as little sugar as possible. That also includes sugars from carbs. Also I would stay away from everything that is ultra processed. Including seed oils.

I have heard about more success stories where people did a 180 on their diet, than those who just keep eating like they did before their diagnosis.

The boring part about this, is that if it does not work, you spent the last part of your life eating really restricted.
