It's the ultimate proof of how fashion and religious believe override everything else. It's fashionable now to believe in these unverified fairy tales, and if you don't, you're at best a weirdo who will be "left behind".

You're not wrong, but we should not absolve those who perpetuate the fairy tales from their share of the responsibility.
