The UI has improved substantially over the past six months. New capabilities are prominently featured and less-used ones are de-emphasized or removed. Every product goes through this type of evolution. The difference with Claude Code is that at the speed they iterate, it happens a lot faster and is therefore more noticeable.

You can call it however you want, but in the end it is just poor engineering. Imaging building a bridge that needs construction every week

  • Software is very different than other engineering disciplines. It is meant to be malleable. I think you need a better analogy.

    • customers don't like big changes to workflows they get used to; adding a new feature or a new button or menu item isn't a big deal but rearranging things so often start to feel random and shows little respect for the customer (or signs of any cohesive product design)
