No, I did. That's the apathy I was referring to. It's an excuse to allow unacceptable behavior, at the expense of everyone else in the shared space, leaving that shared space to be abandoned by anyone who has the means to abandon it.

Cities poll these things. Look up your local public transport polls, to see what others think. If you're in SF, for example, you wont be remotely surprised by the results [1].
