huh. I can only think of one friend I've ever known who named their car.

Anyways, not saying I necessarily disagree with the rest of what you say, but it's out there, for sure. We're a good distance away from an AI that can meaningfully act like a friend.

(Though who knows what AI will look like in even 10 years? I'm not ruling this out)
