Are they subject to our IP laws? For over a 100 years if you drew anything like a cartoon mouse you got sued by Disney... AI companies ingested all their IP and can now reproduce it in new ways.

My childhood would disagree with you as I remember Mighty Mouse, Jerry Mouse, Speedy Gonzalez, Fievel, Pinky
