We use Xenforo, a commercial package. We'd have to rewrite it every time they released an update. That would be quite painful.

I don't quite follow. You'd replace it with an entirely vibe coded version. It looks like a standard phpbb style forum so that would be trivial for Opus 5.5.
How do you keep that vibe coded app up to date with all new discovered vulnerabilities, library dependency updates, and upstream OS changes?
