You keep saying this human connection thing, but it has no bearing on moving the frontier forward. A lot of these problems have remained unsolved for hundreds of years. What is your claim here, that they should remain unsolved artificially for 100 more years so that human mathematicians can have careers and community?

What's the point of solving them if not to serve people? How much harm are you interested in doing for answers that the people supposedly interested in them didn't even read?

  • It will serve people over a much longer time span though for use in whatever machinery ends up giving us something approaching a utopia.

    • What we're building is a hell, and I want nothing to do with the utter dystopia you're imposing on me.

      Please, just stop causing damage.

If you're going to insist on building your nihilistic, brainless, anti-human world, where the best outcome is that the AI remembers to refill the pet food bowl and clean the litter box, first find a way to let people opt out of your brand of hell.
