It's a bad poll and you shouldn't base anything on it.
How about an aggregate of all the Gallup polls over the last 90 years? It's gotten better, but the death side is still in the majority. If these statistics do not convince you, perhaps nothing will.

66 vs 52 is a pretty huge difference.
