I’m not sure if they’re equally reasonable, but inferring something from a username is at least as foolish as making inferences based on account age. The critical distinction, however, is that my account age remark was tongue in cheek while you joined the fray to defend drawing conclusions from a username.
If you can assume that my account is a throwaway from the name, I’m going to assume your time on this site from your account age :)
As you like, just don't fool yourself into thinking both assumptions are equally reasonable; they're not.
