The story here is clearly that Trump wants Ukraine to stop blowing up refineries so that domestically the price of diesel goes down. If you don’t agree with that fine but I’m not sure why we’re blaming Elon Musk. (that was hyperbole I know exactly why you’re blaming him.)
Well, it’ll take years to bring capacity back online, so that ship has sailed.
I agree it's probably more a Trump+Putin thing.
