GrapheneOS has over half a million users. It has a lot of support on Hacker News from people who either use it, want to use it or know they benefit from the work we're doing. People who use GrapheneOS or support it aren't sockpuppets.
Your account is freshly created for the purpose of attacking GrapheneOS including inaccurate personal attacks on our team. There are usually multiple of these freshly created accounts attacking GrapheneOS with inaccurate claims in each thread about it.
It's very common tactic to falsely accuse us of doing things while actively doing them towards us. Another common example is to engage in personal attacks and post links to harassment content while presenting it as if it's the other way around with no basis.
I just wanted to mention that my criticism of the original post comes from a place of love for GrapheneOS and its mission. I really wanted to know what the official 12 banks are because I want to consider using one of those banks.
I think GP may not realize it's (likely) all legitimate accounts, just from 'devoted' GrapheneOS sycophants. They just get sic'd on HN comments if they opt-in to "Do you want to opt-in to mentions for help addressing inaccurate media coverage of GrapheneOS?" on the official Discord.
Evidently GP hit a nerve[0], though I don't know what they were expecting trying to poke the bear like that.
It appears pretty clear that you are active there too to both inform yourself of your "sworn enemy" (to orchestrate your own attacks) and to denounce the existence of a clearly benign effort, what you just did. Because if it weren't benign, then could you ever point to evidence, for a start? Maybe comments that resort to the same rethoric techniques as yours instead of bringing correct information, and politely so.
It greatly discredits what you say about us, the GrapheneOS community, when not only all you have are ad hominem reactions (against the entirety of the community it seems, as well as against the developers[0]) but you are guilty yourself[0] of what you accuse your enemy of, persecution / harassment.
What further evidence is necessary after your own Discord screenshot in your comment I'm replying to? It is quite bizarre how this platform allows this to go on.
