Not really. If the US suddenly declared Russia as an enemy it would not be good for the world. And not just because the ISS collab would end.

Fundamentally political systems like you find in Russia are the enemy of the world.
What would Russia do about it? They're not going to start a nuclear war and can't fight a conventional one against NATO given the stalemate in Ukraine.
You're treating them like a rational actor. And yet the war which realistically can't be won at this point and only destroys both countries more every day is still ongoing...
They are a rational actor in a world of skewed premises.

...is being fought on many battlefields, including the elections in the US.
And I am not so sure Russia isn't winning that one.
