Very impressive given the cost, especially since running locally you just have one time acquisition of hardware and then electricity.

10KW+ of solar could help ;)
You only need about 1kW to run a local inference machine. Even a 5kW array is overkill if you are using it during sunlight hours.

Angle of incidence, time of the year, daylight hours, battery charging.
