still trying to figure out a way to explain it, but i thought i needed a programming language, and it turns out what i need is an interop protocol. i want to be able to "translate" English text to a more or less dense rendering (or a completely different tone/pedagogical approach) without adding or losing meaning.
Interesting. Look up "semantic compression", and you can also try out one of my experiments to see if it works for you.

"without adding or losing meaning" sounds impossible for spoken language.
it does, and it obviously is, but i guess that is what makes it fun!
