Not to sound insane (because those who know, know), but CRT's actually resolve very well and are league better than most non OLED displays for non-text based media consumption.
I run a wide-screen 1080i Sony Display as my main TV. Power consumption sucks, though.
I will be happy to put up with CRT screens if that's what it takes.

My second monitor is a 11" beige VGA LCD. I'm ready for the regression.
I want modern medicine, renewable energy, etc. the world keeps getting better.
I want those things to. I just can't afford them.
