No cellular which is literally the only thing missing from the macbook pro :(

1. Mini LED is fantastic so the OLED jump is marginal at best 2. I know many people with a touchscreen windows laptop. None of them uses the touch function on a regular basis

What’s your use case for cellular on a laptop? At least here in Canada data plans are expensive enough that I could blow through my monthly limit in 30min with a laptop. I would be quite annoyed if my wifi dropped and I had discovered only later that I’d exhausted my data unknowingly

  • I'm always on the go, working from trains, light rails, cafes with bad internet etc.

iPhone hotspot is slow, unreliable and drains the phone's battery quickly

Luckily i'm in a country where a 600GB 5G plan costs the equivalent of 15$ a month, with 3$ per extra eSIM (watch/computer/car/whatever)

  • I thought it was well known that Canada’s cellular service is far more expensive than in most other wealthy countries?

Cellular on my first iPad felt like such a waste of money. Every time I needed Internet I had Wi-Fi or my phone became a hot spot

  • My first iPad entirely felt like a waste of money. Any time I'd want to do something useful with it, the mac was a better choice. Not sure what cellular on the iPad would have ever offered me, but I know why I want it on my laptop.
