Probably a hot take reading the comments, but the touchscreen is great for scrolling and reading vs doing it in the trackpad. If you have the laptop in your lap, the hand and arm position to scroll in the trackpad is very unnatural. Reading/browsing using your thumbs on the screen borders is a great experience. This is even more noticeable if you try to work on planes.
