What a story, wow. I kept hoping to read it ended well. I lost my sister to the same at an even younger age (23) so this was a pretty hard read.

Sorry to hear. That is a very young age to get that type of cancer. Must have been incredibly difficult and traumatic.
It's been 40 years and I'm not sure if I have completely processed it. I can still hear her voice. Best of luck to you and your wife, I hope you have many good and pleasant years together.
