lastly, I am allowed to express my opinion, and no harm was done. I express it precisely to try influencing, to nudge the world around me in a better direction. nothing about that is wrong. indeed it is wise

maybe you don't recognize you've been downvoted a lot? my comment above has a LOT of upvotes, and it's your comment that is out of place and you should have thought about it a lot more. You did not nudge in a better direction. Total failure to realize how things like star trek have had a lot of influence on people in tech and that maybe its you that should behave better in the future. Your better course of action would have been to say nothing, no comment was necessary from you.
