I don’t see why it’s scary. Most cars on the road have a driver and no LIDAR. The cybercab is no different.

They intend to take the driver out, and they are already running them without a driver in Texas and Florida.

For now, their goal is to have no driver and no lidar. That is what said the commenter is scared of.
