Was the bit about PHP standing for Personal Home Page a joke? I always thought it was "PHP Hypertext Preprocessor". The coolest thing about PHP is the infinite recursion in its name!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PHP#Release_history It was PHP 1.0, then PHP/FI 2.0, then became the PHP Hypertext Preprocessor at PHP 3.0 I believe.
Nope, it wasn't. recursive was later tackled on (probably still before 1.0)
