I love geographic puzzles such as this one. Here are links to some other interesting ones.

The integer degrees is arbitrary, but it provides a random sampling of landscapes. I like the idea of going out to find some defined spot, like geocaching without any caches. Fun fact: there are parts of the Pacific ocean that are opposite each other, therefore the Pacific ocean spans (not covers) half the globe.
